THIS TRIP HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO PEOPLE NOT STICKING TO THEIR COMMITMENTS

For those that dont know, the tail of the dragon is an 11 mile stretch of road that is on the TN and NC border. It is a mountain road with many twists and turns. 318 to be exact on the tail. There are also other roads around there that are just as great.

UPDATE
Since there is higher police force in TN on the roads, I searched the maps and there are roads in NC that are good as well. Here is a map of a big loop that includes the Dragon, the Cherohala skyway, as well as other roads. This way we can keep it easy in TN where there are cops and push the limits a bit more in NC because there isnt much enforcement there.

It cant be done in one day because its like a 9 hour drive down there lol.

Friday Morning/Afternoon:
Leave Chicago to head down to Robinsville, NC.

Friday Night:
Arrive at hotel

Saturday:
Hit up the roads and do w/e we want.

Sunday:
Head back home

Me and john d are deff down for this. There are others that are interested but just need some time to think about it because well its an arduous trip physically because of the driving and it could cost a couple hundred dollars.

i can do that but i mean i would steal your seat and put it in my car since the xrs has better seats. lol, dammit if i wasnt getting my new toy, i would have totally gone with my sparco seats.

Haha oh I got ya. Well the XRunner has the same seats but with lumbar support lol you can borrow one out of there.

Europe sounds like fun too so your not missing out lol. Yah most likely this will get done one way or another and hopefully it turns into an annual thing so there will be other chances.
